Beautiful Silver Coin 1956 AD 1375 AH Egyptian Commemorative Fifty Piastres Evacuation of British Forces from Egypt Lustrous Extremely Fine or Better

Description:   A beautiful lustrous extremely fine or much better 1956 (1375AH) Egyptian fifty piastres silver coin. The coin commemorates the Evacuation of British Troops from Egypt on June 18, 1956. The coin depicts the image of a pharanohic character, presumably Egypt, with broken chains or shackles moving forward with a torch in his right hand on the obverse. The obverse also states Evacuation Day 18 June 1956 in Arabic lettering. The reverse shows the denomination and the date both in AD and AH. It also says Republic of Egypt and has the wings of Houras in the bottom. This is a heavy and large silver coin that is very beautiful and in a nice grade. It is KM-386. It weighs 28 grams of 0.900 silver and measures approximately 40 mm in diameter. The coin has a reeded rim and has a very small mintage of 250,000. Condition:  I would grade this coin as a good lustrous extremely fine or better with quite a bit of residual mint luster and having all the details very well preserved. The coin has excellent eye appeal and is beautiful. It is much better than the scan shows. It does have bag marks, scratches and nicks throughout the fields. The coin also has a few minor nicks to the rim, and has wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. Never the less the coin is beautiful and would be a nice addition to your collection.
