Description: A choice fine or better banknote issued by The Anglo-Palestine Bank Limited. This is the 1948-1951 no date one pound banknote. The note is blue in color with front having text in Hebrew and English while the back is in Arabic and English. Both sides show the name of the issuing entity and the denomination as One Palestine Pound. The front also shows the serial number and two signatures. The back also has two signatures but no serial number. The note is in English, Arabic and Hebrew. This particular note has the serial number G746281 written twice in red on the front. It has no watermark and does not have a security thread. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: The note is not dated but known to have been issued in the period 1949-1951.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as Choice Fine or much better. The note is soiled, has some staining, roughness along the edges at the ends of the folds, intact but lightly rounded corners, and several folds as well as creases. The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. It paper is still stiff and the colors are still clear. A nice note, which would make a great addition to your collection.
