Description: A nice crisp uncirculated banknote from Oman on the Indian Ocean. This is the no date One Omani Rial banknote introduced in 1977 and issued by the Central Bank of Oman. The banknote red and olive green on multicolored underprint. The front is in Arabic and shows the Omani arms while the back is in English and depicts the image of the Sohar fort. The note has a watermark depicting the Omani arms. The front has one signature that of the president of the board of governors. The note is undated but is known to have been introduced in 1976. This particular note has the serial number 990678 and is series "Aleff/19" which is written twice in black on the front. A great note to add to your collection.
