Egypt Silver Coin 1884 AD One Qirsh Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II W Mark MS63

Description: A beautiful, toned, and uncirculated 1293 AH 10th year of Sultan Abdul Hamid II reign, or 1884 AD, Egyptian one Qirsh (or one piastres) silver coin. The coin depicts the tughra of Abdul Hamid the second with the denomination under it and a rose to its right all surrounded by a wreath and having two crossing quivers under it all. There is also seven stars above the design on the obverse along the edge. The reverse says "Duribah Fi Misr" or struck in Egypt with the number 10 over the "beh" in duribah (for 10th reginal year of Abdul-Hamid's reign) and the date 1293 AH under it for the year when Abdul-Hamid ascended the throne, all surrounded by a wreath and having three stars on top in triangular form. Just a beautiful design, by Emil Weigand of Berlin Germany as evidenced by the "W" in the bottom of the obverse. The coin is beautiful and is nicely toned with all the details being well preserved and very readable. The coin is graded by ANACS as MS (Mint State) 63. It comes in a plastic slab that is so labeled. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and Weight: This is a one Qirsh, should weigh 1.4 grams of 0.833 silver and is about 15 mm in diameter.

References: It is KM #292.

Condition: The coin is uncirculated and nicely toned with great eye appeal. It is graded MS 63 by ANACS and comes in a plastic slab that is so labeled. The coin is beautiful with great eye appeal and is problem free. Please see photo for condition information.
