Five Piastres King Fuad the First Scarce Silver Egyptian Coin 1933 AD or 1352 AH
Description: A nice extremely fine 1352 AH or 1933 AD Egyptian five piastres silver coin. The coin depicts the bust of King Fuad or Fouad the first (who ruled Egypt during the British occupation) facing left. He is wearing a uniform and a fez and has the words Fouad the first King of Egypt along the edge on the obverse. The reverse has the words "Al Mamlkah Al Mesryah" (Kingdom of Egypt) in the center in beautiful calligraphy surrounded by the denomination and the date in years AD (1933) and AH (1352). This is KM 349 weighs ~7 grams and is ~26 m in diameter. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and Weight: This a five piastres, which is approximately 26 mm in diameter and weighs ~7 gm of 83.3 silver. The coin has a reeded rim.

Condition: I would grade this coin as a good extremely fine with all of its details being well preserved and readable. The coin is better than the scan and the photos suggest. It does have scratches and some bag marks, which can be seen in the scan. The obverse retains some of the coin's original luster while the reverse is nicely tones. The coin has wear commensurate with its circulated status, especially on the high points of the king's face and cheeks, but is great looking with nice eye appeal.
