Large Silver Coin 1910 AD 1327 AH Regnal Year 2 Egyptian 10 Qirsh Muhammad V Mint Letter H ANACS AU 50 Details

Description: A beautiful ANACS Graded About Uncirculated 1327 AH year 2 of Muhammad V reign, or 1910 AD, Egyptian ten Qirsh (or pistres) silver coin. The coin depicts the toughra of Muhammad the fifth with the denomination under it and a rose to its right all surrounded by branches and having two crossing quivers under it and seven stars above it. The reverse says "Duribah Fi Misr" or struck in Egypt with the number 2 over the "beh" in duribah (for 2nd regnal year of Muhammad's reign) and the date 1327 AH under it for the year when Muhammad V ascended the throne, all surrounded by branches and having three stars on top. Just a beautiful design! The coin is beautiful, is graded AU 50 Details by ANACS with the detail being CLEANED. It attractively toned with all the details being very well preserved, readable, and having a beautiful lustrous appearance. Date: 1910.

Mint: Egypt, actually these coins were struck in Birmingham England as evidenced by the mint letter "H" in the bottom of the obverse.

Size and Weight: This is a 10 Qirsh, weighs approximately 14 grams of 0.833 silver and is about 33 mm in diameter.

Condition: The coin is graded by ANACS as About or Almost Uncirculated AU 50 details with the detail being cleaned. The coin comes in a plastic slab so annotated. The coin is attractively toned with all the details being very well preserved, readable, and having a beautiful lustrous appearance. It does have minor scratches, bag marks, and wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. The coin has nice eye appeal. Please see photo for additional condition information.
