Law of February 2, 1963 Libya Quarter Pound Currency A Beautiful Very Fine or Better Banknote
Description: A beautiful very fine or much better Banknote from Libya. This is the law of February 5, 1963 quarter pound currency note. The banknote has Arabic inscription in red on a multicolored background on the front. The back is also colored in red but has inscription in English. The front has a crowned arms of the Libyan kingdom. The banknote was issued in the name of King Idris I. The front shows the denomination, the serial number, and one signature on the front. This particular note has the serial number 678506 and is series 3F/I. The banknote has a water mark depicting the Libyan arm located to the right of the front and also has a security strip to the left of center. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as a good very fine to extremely fine with all the details being very well preserved. The note has general wrinkling and light creases. The note has quite a bit of its original stiffness and is very well preserved. It does have some minor soiling and light brown colored stains to the right of the front and minor foxing on the back near the top left corner. The banknote has no pinholes that we could see. The corners of the note have minor rounding and are lightly creased. The note has no splits and the edges are intact. Just a great piece to add to your collection.
