Nice 1863 Copper Patriotic Civil War Token US Capitol Army & Navy Fuld 233/312a
Description: A good very fine or better patriotic Civil War copper token. The token displays the image of the US Capitol on the obverse with the words "UNITED STATES", flanked by a star on each side, above it and the date "1863" surrounded by three stars on each side below it. The reverse has the legend "ARMY & NAVY" in the center within a wreath having crossed swords in the bottom. The token has a plain edge, weighs ~3.1 gm and is ~19 mm in diameter. A great looking and very interesting Civil War patriotic token to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The token is in good very fine condition or much better. It is lightly toned and shows wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. It has oxidation or darkened spots on both obverse and reverse, which is the main reason we grade the token as VF instead of XF. The token also has some minor scratches and bag marks to the surfaces. Be that as it may, this is a nice and well-preserved patriotic Civil War token to add to your collection.
