Republic of Columbia Silver Coin 1948/5B Twenty Centavos Bogota Mint NGC MS65
Description: A beautiful silver coin from the Republic of Columbia. This is the 1948/5B twenty centavos coin. The coin displays the bust of Francisco De Paula Santander on the obverse. The reverse displays the denomination within a wreath. The obverse has the legend "REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA.1948." surrounding the bust. The reverse shows the mint mark "B" within the wreath on top. The coin is graded by NGC as MS65. It comes in a plastic slab so labeled. The coin has a reeded edge. Please carefully review the photos provided as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: Coin weighs ~5 gm and is ~22 mm in diameter.
References: It is KM 208.2.
Condition: The coin is graded by NGC as Mint State (MS) 65 and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The coin is beautiful and shows no wear. As you can see from the photos, the coin has no observable wear and a minimum of surface marks. A great looking coin which is difficult to find in such high grade given its low denomination and the fact that it is made of silver.
