Description: A beautiful AU-Details Silver coin from the Philippines issued under United States Authority. This is a silver one peso issued by the US Administration in the Philippines in 1936 to commemorate the establishment of the commonwealth. The coin displays the busts of Murphy and Quezon (the president of the commonwealth at the time) facing left on the b-obverse. The obverse also has the legend "Commonwealth of the Philippines" and the date November 15, 1935. The reverse depicts an eagle with wings open on top of a shield and the words United States of America around it and the date 1936 below it. This coin is graded by NGC as AU-Details with obverse damage and comes in a plastic slab. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
