The Bahamas Government Four Shillings Banknote Pick Number 13c Queen Elizabeth II Portrait
Description: A nice very fine or better banknote from the Bahamas. This is the four shillings No Date (1953) banknote issued by the Bahamas Government. The note is undated but is a 1953 issue. It is green on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note shows a sail ship in a circular frame to the left and the image of a young queen Elizabeth to the right. The back is green in color and depicts arms to the left and denomination to the right. The front displays the denomination, and three signatures with the right hand signature being that of P. Bethel making it Pick Number 13c. This particular note has the serial number A/4 969920 printed in black twice on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center but no watermark. This is a very nice note to add to your collection. Condition: I would grade this note as very fine or better with all its details being well preserved. The note is intact showing some folds and general wrinkling. It is lightly soiled but has stains especially on the back. The edges are intact with some minor roughness but no tears or splits. The note has no pinholes and no graffiti. The corners are intact but have bumps and some rounding. A nice note to add to your collection at a reasonable price. Please see photo for additional condition information.
