The coin chapters are subdivided by caliph and presents each khalif's coins. It would start by describing the relevant numismatic history for each ruler and follow by describing his various coins. The types of coins discussed are Gold, Silver, and Fulus. The book has a table describing mints, year and inscription of Umayyad coins. It also discusses the various design of Fatimid coins and has extensive treaties on each ruler and their coins.
