Turkey Central Bank 1930 Fifty Kurus Unissued Banknote PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45
Description: A choice extremely fine banknote issued by Turkey Republic Central Bank. This is the 11 June 1930 or 11 Haziran 1930 fifty Kurus currency note issued by the Central Bank of the Turkish Republic. The banknote is brown and lilac on the front showing the portrait of Ismet Inonu at right. It is in Turkish with two signatures. The back shows a building in the center. The note has a watermark depicting Inonu's bust. This particular banknote has the serial number 128661 and is series A6, information displayed twice in red on the front. The note is graded as Choice Extremely Fine 45 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so annotated. Please carefully review scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Pick Number: P 133 and is listed in the banknote book as B 211a.
Condition: The note is graded as Choice Extremely fine 45 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder that is so annotated. The note shows practically no wear, no soiling, no staining. It does show waviness in the paper and what maybe some color running on the back. Of course these notes were under water and recalled. They were never issued by the Turkish Government and were mostly destroyed so these examples are rather uncommon. This is a nice example worthy of a spot in your collection.
