1996 Hand Carved Polychrome Painted Primitive Folk Art Bull by Menno

  • $ 59.99

Description: A beautiful wood carved and polychrome painted primitive American Folk Art bull. The flat carving shows a bovine bull standing on a green colored flat base. The bull has a mouth and a nose that are detailed with impressed lines. The bull also has eyes that are also impressed and are painted in white with a black center. The bull is colored in two tones of brown. The bull has no horns, but because it has no udder we are confident it is meant to be a bull. Just a very interesting and highly decorative primitive carving. The bull is affixed to the base with what we believe is glue, which have been painted over.
