Description: A good extremely fine or much better Civil War copper token. The circa 1863 token represents Willard & Jacksons Oyster House store card. The obverse of the token shows an eagle on shield with a staff and flag above it and the legend "WILLARD & JACKSONS OYSTER HOUSE 532 BROADWAY, N.Y." surrounding the design. The reverse of the token has the image of a large building with a flag on top within an open wreath and the date 1863 in a shield below the building. The token has a plain edge. It weighs ~3.2 gm and is ~19 mm in diameter. A great looking and very interesting copper Civil War token, with a rarity index R7, to add to your collection. Marks: Unmarked as to the maker.

Condition: The token is in good extremely fine condition or much better. It is nicely toned and shows wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. In our opinion, the obverse shows less wear than the reverse. Be that as it may, this is a very nice, rare, and well-preserved Civil War store card token to add to your collection.
