1751 Small Billon Coin Germany Wurzburg One Schilling About Uncirculated NGC AU50
Description: A great looking about uncirculated 1751 German State Wurzburg small billon coin. This is a one Schelling coin depicting the St. Kilian standing and splitting the date on the obverse. The obverse has the legend "KILIANUS SANCTUS" surrounding the saint's image. The reverse has a crowned Four-fold arms with the legend "CAR.P.H.D.G.EP.H.S.R.I.P.F.O.D." surrounding it along the edge. The coin was issued during the rule of Karl Philipp. This the one Schilling or 6 Neue Pfennige, is listed as KM 339, is graded AU 50 by NGC, and comes in a plastic slab so labeled.
