1807 Crown Size Peru Silver Coin Lima Mint 8 Reales King Charles IIII NGC AU 58
Description: A nicely toned, About uncirculated Peruvian crown size silver coin. This is an eight reales silver coin. The coin depicts the laureate bust of King Charles IIII of Spain facing right on the obverse. The bust is surrounded with the legend "CAROLUS*IIII*DEI*GRATIA*1807" along the edge. The reverse has the crowned Spanish arms surrounded by two pillars. The reverse has the legend "HISPAN.ET.IND.REX.ME.8R.J.P" with the LIMA mint mark in monogram. The coin has the edge with raised rectangles and circles. It is nicely toned, has nice eye appeal, is graded as AU58 by NGC, and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. This is KM 97, should weigh ~27 grams and is ~38 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.
