1834 Farthing William IV Head Facing Right Beautiful Copper Coin from Great Britain NGC About Uncirculated AU 55 BN
Description: A beautiful about uncirculated 1834 copper coin from the United Kingdom. This is a beautiful 1/4 penny or farthing having a great looking chocolate brown patina. This small coin displays the uncovered head of King William IV facing right on the obverse and the image of seated Britannia with spear in one hand, a shield in the other and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words "GULIELMUS IIII. DEI GRATIA 1834" surrounding the king's head on the obverse. The reverse is marked "BRITANNIAR REX FID: DEF" surrounding the seated Britannia with a flower sprig under her at the bottom of the coin. The coin is truly beautiful and has a wonderful chocolate brown patina and great eye appeal. It is KM 705 and is graded AU 55 BN (About Uncirculated 55 Brown) by Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC). It comes in a plastic slab and is marked as such. Size and Weight: The coin weighs ~4.6 gm of copper and is ~21 mm in diameter.

Condition: The coin comes in a slab and is graded by the NGC as AU 55 BN. It is in great condition and displays beautiful toning. The coin has on small ding to the edge of the rim which can be seen at about 7:00 o'clock on the obverse. Other than that it is problem free and has a nice appearance.
