Description: An almost or about uncirculated 1863 patriotic Civil War copper token. The token has the image of a French Liberty Head facing left surrounded by 13 5-pointed stars along the edge and having 6 stars in its headband on the obverse. There is the date 1863 below the image. The reverse has a wreath along the edge legend with crossed swords in the bottom and the words "ARMY & NAVY" in three lines in the center. The obverse die was made by Scovill Mfg. Co. while the reverse die was made by Higgins according to Fuld. The token has a plain edge and is ~18 mm in diameter. A great looking and very interesting Civil War patriotic token to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The token is graded About Uncirculated AU 58 by ANACS and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. The token has minimum wear with a minimum of surface marks.
