Description: An extremely fine or better Civil War Patriotic copper token. The token displays the image the US Flag, having 36 stars and 5 bars, surrounded by 13 stars with the word THE FLAG OF OUR UNION along the edge and the date 1863 below it on the obverse. The reverse shows the words "IF ANYBODY ATTEMPTS TO TEAR IT DOWN*/SHOOT HIM**ON THE SPOT**/ DIX" in concentric circles on the reverse. The token has a plain edge, weighs ~3 grams and is ~19 mm in diameter. It is Fuld 210/408a with a rarity index R-3.
