1874-B Crown Size Five Francs Silver Coin From Switzerland Seated Helvetia with Shield A. Bovy Design PCGS AU50
Description: A nice looking About Uncirculated PCGS AU50 crown size silver coin from Switzerland. This is the 1874 five francs Confederation silver coin. The coin, which was designed by Antoine Bovy the well known medal design depicts Helvetia seated with her hand on a shield having the Swiss cross on it and the word "HELVETIA" along the top on the obverse. The obverse also shows the name A. Bovy to the left along the edge. The reverse shows the denomination and the date within a wreath. The coin is graded AU 50 by PCGS and comes in a plastic slab. It is nicely toned and has great eye appeal. It is KM 11 and weighs 25 grams of 0.900 silver. A great piece to add to your collection. Condition: The coin is graded as about uncirculated 50 by PCGS and comes in a plastic slab that is marked to the effect. It is nicely toned and has great eye appeal. It has wear commensurate with its circulated state. It does have minor scratches and bag marks throughout but is still great looking.
