1883 Bolivia Large Copper Coin Two Centavos Mint Mark A Uncirculated Mint State 63 Brown

Description: A beautiful 1883 large uncirculated coin from Bolivia. This is the two centavos coin with mint mark A for Paris. The coin is brown in color and is graded MS 63 BN by NGC and comes in holder so labeled. The coin depicts the image of crossed flags and weapons behind a condor topped oval arms with stars below on the obverse. It has the legend "REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA" along the edge of the obverse. The reverse shows the denomination within a wreath with the legend "LA UNION ES LA FUREZA" surrounding it and the date 1883 below. It also has the letter "A" for Paris mint below the wreath on the reverse. A beautiful, problem free coin with nice brown coloring at a very high grade for such a low denomination coin. It would make a great addition to your collection. Note Krause Catalog of World Coins does not list any grade higher than MS 60 for this variety and as such this is a relatively scarce coin because of its high grade. It is also of low mintage with only 250,000 minted. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
