Description: A beautiful silver coin from the Morocco. This is the 1895/6 or 1313 AH five dirhams coin. The coin displays the year and the mint name within a circle surrounding the seal of Solomon (six-pointed star with a circle in its center) with beautiful motif surrounding it along the edge on the obverse. The reverse shows the seal of Solomon in the center within a double circle surrounded by beautiful motif along the edge. The coins was struck in Berlin, represent a less common variety and hence more desirable. The coin has its edge decorated with five-pointed stars, weighs about 14.50 gm and measures ~32.5 mm. This is KM Y12.1 and is listed in Numista as N# 156600. Please carefully review the photos provided as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: Coin weighs ~14.50 gm and is ~32.5 mm in diameter.

References: It is listed in Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins as Y# 12.1 and in Numista as N# 156600.

Condition: I would grade this coin as a nice about uncirculated with all its details being very well preserved and having great eye appeal. The coin is beautiful and problem free with beautiful light toning and some residual luster. The coin has minimum wear, if any, to the highest point commensurate with its age and about circulated status. It has a few scratches and minor bag marks, which do not distract from its beauty and quality. The coin is much better than the photos suggest. It would make a great addition to your collection.
