Description: A beautiful about uncirculated large silver coin from French Indo-China. This is 1908A One Piastre of Commerce or PIASTRE DE COMMERCE". The coin depicts Lady Liberty seated and facing forward with the date below her. There is the legend "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" and the name "BARRE" the designer of the coin to the left below her. The reverse indicates that the coin is from French Indo-China with an indication of the purity of the silver being 0.900 and the weight of the coin being 27 grams all surrounding the denomination within a wreath on the center and the mint mark "A" below it. The coin has a reeded edge and is graded by NGC as AU Details "CLEANED". It comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The coin has a clean lustrous surface and well preserved details.
