1915 Series C State of Sinaloa Mexico 50 Centavos Banknote P# S1042 PMG 65 EPQ
Description: A beautiful gem uncirculated Banknote from the free and sovereign State of Sinaloa in Mexico. This is the note which conforms to the February 22, 1915 decree. It is a 50 centavos currency note, light green in color with the portraits of Francisco Madero (President of the United Mexican States until his assassination in 1913) and Pablo Benito Juárez (the Mexican statesman who served as president of Mexico from 1858-1872) in black and white over the light green background with black writing on the obverse. The reverse is orange in color with the image of a city in the background and a woman holding a staff and a blindfolded woman surrounding a shield having a maritime scene within it and an eagle with a serpent in its beak on top of it. All in dark orange over a white background. The back also has a blue treasury round seal by the right edge. This note is a Series C issue. This particular note has the serial number 99334 on the front twice in red and does not display the serial number on the back. This note is graded Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note has four signatures displayed on the front but has no water mark that we could find. The colors of the note are all there and still vivid.
