1933 Egypt Copper-Nickel Octagonal Coin 2.5 Milliemes King Fuad I Uncirculated

Description: A nice uncirculated mint state 1933 (1352 AH) Egyptian two and a half milliemes copper-nickel coin. This octagonal coin is of a denomination that is very unusual and in fact this is the only Egyptian coin that has this denomination. It is a one-year type coin depicting the uniformed bust of king Fouad the First or Fuad I of Egypt during the British occupation. He is wearing a fez and facing left. The coin shows the denomination on the reverse as well as the date of issue as 1933 AD and 1352 AH and the words Egyptian Kingdom. It has a toothed border and a plain edge. The coin is uncirculated and iis graded MS 64 (Mint State 64) by ANACS and comes in a plastic hider so labeled. This is a rather scarce coin in such high grade since it is of very low denomination and normally would have seen extensive circulation. It is KM-356. It measures approximately 20 mm in diameter and weighs ~3.0 grams. Please carefully view the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: This is a 2 1/2 milliemes measuring ~20 mm in diameter and weighing ~3.0 grams.

Condition: The coin is graded MS 64 (Mint State 64) by ANACS and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. The coin is uncirculated with no wear, no blemishes and full luster. All of its details are well preserved and the coin has great eye appeal. The coin itself is much better than the photos suggest. Please see photo for additional condition information.
