1935 Egypt One Pound Banknote National Bank of Egypt Pick 22b Edward Cook Signature PMG 30 Very Fine
Description: A nice very fine banknote from Egypt. This is the 4th November 1935 one pound currency note. The banknote, which was issued by the "National Bank of Egypt" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd., New Malden Surrey, England, has a blue design on multicolored background on the front. The front also has a brown circle to the right with the image of Tutankhamen. The back of the note is green with a design showing a mosque in the center. The note is signed E. M. Cook and displays the Cook's signature. The note has the denomination spelled out in the center of the front and in Roman numerals to the left of the back. This particular note has the serial number 542621 displayed three times on the front and is series J/23. The banknote has a watermark depicting the head of the sphinx. It is graded as 30 Very Fine by PMG and come in a plastic holder that is marked as such. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The note is graded as 30 Very fine by PMG and comes in a plastic holder that is so marked. It is nice looking and shows folds and creases, some soiling and rounded corners, but has no tears or losses. It has a soiled central vertical crease on the back.
