The front depicts the bust of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the father of communist Russia, to the right and the Soviet Arms left of center near the upper left corner. This particular note has the serial number 962840. It is unsigned and has no water mark that we could see. It retains quite a bit of its original crispiness and is lightly soiled with a few minor stains and several vertical folds. A beautiful note with all its original beauty, which would make a great addition to your collection of Russian banknotes. Condition: I would grade this banknote as a choice very fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The note retains quite a bit of its original crispiness. It has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. The corners are intact with minimum rounding with minor bumps and some creasing. The note is lightly soiled and has a few light stains, one along the top edge near the right corner with lighter stains along the bottom edge. Be that as it may, the note is still very nice and intact with nice vivid colors and good retention of original stiffness, sheen and crispiness. The edges are intact with minimum roughness at the ends of the folds, but without tears or splits. A beautiful banknote that would fit nicely in your collection of Russian banknotes.
