1940s Aluminum Pepsi Cola Carrier Some Original Color Movable Handle
Description: This is very nice vintage, probably from the 1940s aluminum Pepsi Cola Carrier. The carrier has a handle that slides up and down in a channel fitted on the inside sides of the carrier. The carrier has the word Pepsi Cola in raise littering in the front and hack. The words have remnants of the original red coloring but the coloring shows considerable wear. The carrier is all original with no appreciable damage or repairs. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: Uncertain but most likely from the 1940s.
Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southern New Jersey.
Size: The piece measures ~8" by ~5" and is ~9 3/4" high to the top of the handle when it is inside and not fully extended. The piece itself weighs about 7 ounces.
Marks: Unmarked as to the maker.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Just a very nice Pepsi Cola collectible in excellent condition to add to your collection.
Condition: The carrier is in great original used condition. It has no breaks, repairs or losses. The piece is soiled, has a few scratches and a few minor dings. The red coloring of the word Pepsi Cola is mostly lost but you can still see some remnants of the color. The handle slides up and down easily. A great vintage piece with honest age wear.
