1941 Hong Kong 10 Dollars Banknote The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Pick Number 178c PMG Very Fine 30
Description: A very fine banknote from Hong Kong. This is The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation 1st April 1941 ten dollars currency note. The banknote which was issued by the "The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. has a dark green design on multicolored and orange underprint with the image of a woman holding sheaf of grain within an oval in the top left corner and the arms of Hong Kong right of center near the top of the front. The back is also dark green on multicolored underprint with the image of an old bank building in the center and a winged angel on top. This particular note has the serial number L425,071 displayed twice on the front in black but not on the back. The note has two printed signatures displayed on the front. It is dated 1st April 1941. The banknote has a watermark located in the squared frame to the left on the back, which displays a helmeted warrior's head with the number 10 under it.
