The pitcher is brown in color and has line decorations along its circumference consisting three lines in groups near the top and the bottom and a wavy line between two lines in the middle. The pitcher is in the form of a barrel with a flat base slightly extending outwards. Its exterior is nicely textured and not completely smooth. The piece is glazed on the inside and the outside but not on the bottom. The pitcher has a flat round base which is not glazed and shows the color of unglazed redware. It is signed and dated by the potter Russell Stahl. A great piece of Stahl pottery to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Careful examination of the surface of the glaze could not identify crazing but because of the surface finish we believe it would be very difficult o see crazing if it was there.
