Description: A nice about uncirculated one English Pound banknote. This banknote is not dated but known to have been issued in the period 1948 through 1949. It is green in color and shows Britannia seated within a frame top left corner of the front. The back is green and purple in color with medallions on the right and left with the image of Saint George on his horse slaying the dragon and a wide structure on top. The banknote has a watermark showing the head of Britannia in the white circle bottom center. The note is signed by K. O. Peppiatt the Chief Cashier the Bank of England at the time and has the prefix Y67A. This particular note has the serial number 641790 and has a continuous security thread. This is Pick Number 369a and is graded 50 About Uncirculated by PMG. It comes slabbed in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
