1958 Belgian Congo Ruanda-Urundi Central Bank 10 Francs Banknote P30b Unc 65 EPQ

Description: A very nice gem uncirculated banknote from the Belgian Congo. This is the 1 August 1958 ten Francs currency note issued by the Central Bank of the Belgian Congo and Ruanda-Urundi. The banknote is gray and blue on blue and orange underprint. The front depicts the image of a soldier at left with the date, serial number and denomination all in French. The note has two signatures. The back has same color scheme as the front with an antelope in the wild to the right. The back also shows the denomination and the name of the issuing bank in Flemish language. The note has a water mark showing the head of a giraffe and is dated 01.08.58. This particular note has the serial number B/D 575247, which is displayed twice in black on the front. The note is graded by PMG as Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
