1959-62 Hong Kong 10 Dollar Banknote The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Pick Number 182a PMG Choice Very Fine
Description: A beautiful Choice Very Fine banknote from Hong Kong. This is The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation 21 May 1959 ten dollars currency note. The banknote which was issued by the "The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. has a dark green design on multicolored and orange underprint with the image of a woman holding sheaf of grain within an oval in the top left corner and the arms of Hong Kong left of center of the front. The back is also dark green on multicolored underprint with the image of a bank building in the center and a winged angel on top. This particular note has the serial number 126031 displayed twice on the front and is series GU. The note has two signatures displayed on the front. It is dated 21st May 1959. The banknote has a watermark located in the squared frame to the left on the back, which displays a helmeted warrior's head. The note is grade as Choice Very Fine 35 Net by PMG with the net reflecting that it has rust marks especially on the back. It comes in a plastic holder which is so labeled. Condition: The note is graded as Choice Very Fine 35 Net by PMG with the net reflecting that it has rust marks especially on the back. It comes in a plastic holder which is so labeled. The note has several vertical folds and horizontal folds. It is relatively clean with no appreciable soiling but has stains mostly rust marks on the back and one dark stain near the top left corner on the front. It has no pinholes and no graffiti. The edges are intact and show minimum roughness. The corners are squared, intact with no creasing or folding and minimum rounding, if any. The colors are vivid with no fading.
