1965 Bahamas 5 Dollars Banknote Pick 21b With 3 signatures Choice VF 35 EPQ
Description: A beautiful choice very fine five dollars banknote from the Bahamas. This is the banknote introduced in 1967 by the Bahamas Government based on the Currency Note Act of 1965. It is orange on multicolored underprint the front. It depicts the image of crowned queen Elizabeth II to the left with the denomination with the serial number and the signatures of Francis, Higgs, and Smiley-Butler also on the front. The back, which is very colorful, shows the image of the Government House in the center and the Bahamas' coat of arms to the right. The note has a watermark depicting a conch shell and has a solid security thread to the left of center. This particular note has the serial number C 659195. The note was printed by Thomas de La Rue of London in the United Kingdom. The banknote is graded by PMG as Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note has a few folds and is lightly soiled. Its corners show some rounding but does not appear to have significant roughness along the edges. Its colors are vivid and does not have any large objectionable stains. It has no pinholes and no graffiti. A beautiful banknote in good condition worthy of a spot in your collection.
