1965 The Bahamas Government 10 Dollars Banknote Pick Number 22a XF 40 EPQ
Description: A nice extremely fine banknote having exceptional paper quality from the Bahamas. This is the 10 Dollars note issued based on the currency act of 1965 by the Bahamas Government. The note is dark blue on multicolored underprint. The front of the note shows the image of a young Queen Elizabeth II to the left. The back is a multicolored depiction of pink flamingos wading in a pool of water with the Bahamas Arms to the right. The front displays the denomination, two signatures those of Sands and Higgs, the serial number, and the denomination. This particular note has the serial number A188134 printed twice in black on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center and a watermark depicting a conch shell. The note is graded by PMG as Extremely Fine 40 EPQ and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. A very nice example of this rather scarce note worthy of a spot in your collection. Condition: The note is graded as Extremely Fine 40 EPQ by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note has all of its details very well preserved. The note is intact and clean. As far as we can see the note has no tears and no splits. We do not observe roughness or folds. It has no pinholes, no graffiti., and its corners are intact, squared with minimum rounding, if any. The note appears to have a few bumps and small stains along the bottom edge of the back. Be that as it may, this is a great example of this scarce banknote to add to your collection.
