Description: A beautiful crisp extremely fimne or much better banknote from the Bahamas. This is the One Dollar issued based on The Bahamas Monettary Authority Act 1968. The note is green in color on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note shows the image of a young Queen Elizabeth II to the left. The back is a multicolored depiction of the fish and corals under water with the Bahamas Arms to the right. The front displays the denomination, the signature of E. L. Hammond and T. B. Donaldson, the serial number and the denomination. This particular note has the serial number P581077 printed twice in black on the front but not on the back. The note has a security thread left of center and a watermark depicting a conch shell. This is a very nice note in beautiful high grade for such a low denomination. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade this note as nice crisp extremely fine to about uncirculated. The note has all of its details very well preserved. The note is intact showing minimum signs of circulation. The note is clean with no soiling or stains. The note has one light vertical central fold and hence our grade of XF/AU instead of Unc. The note has no creases, no pinholes, and no graffiti. The corners are intact, fully squared with no observable rounding. The edges are intact and show no signs of wear or roughness. The note retains quite a bt of its original stiffness, crispiness, and sheen. Just a great not to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
