1969 Equatorial Guinea 1000 Pesetas Banknote Pick Number 3 About Uncirculated 55
Description: A beautiful about uncirculated large banknote from Equatorial Guinea. This is the 1000 Pesetas banknote dated 12 October 1969 and issued by the Central Bank. The note is blue on multicolored background. The note shows the image of president Francisco Macias in the center of the front with arrow heads and coffee. There are tracing of coco pods flanking the central image. The back of the note is blue and shows the arms of Equatorial Guinea in the center and a tree to its left as well as a water body below it. There is also a jungle to the right. The front has the serial number only once in red, the denomination, the name of the bank, three signatures, and the date. The back has the serial number in red twice, the denomination and the name of the bank. Bothe the front and back are written in Spanish. This particular note is series has the serial number 0249519 shown in red, once on the front and twice in red on the back. The note has a watermark located in the white circle to the right of the back depicting the crowned heads of queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon. The note is graded About Uncirculated 55 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The note is graded About Uncirculated 55 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is well preserved with minor signs of circulation. It has some darkening along the edges and a few bumps at the corners especially at the back left top corner. The note also has minor roughness at the top back right corner. The note has no folds, no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. The corners are well squared with minimum rounding, if any. Just a very nice note to add to your collection.
