1971 Spain 500 Pesetas Pick Number 153 Writer Jacinto Verdaguer Beautiful Crisp Uncirculated Banknote
Description: A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from Spain. This is the 23 July 1937, 500 Peseta. The banknote, which is a one year issue, has blue-gray and black coloring on multicolor under-print. It depicts the image of Jacinto Verdaguer, the famous Spanish Catalan writer and poet of the 19th century, to the right of the front. The back has a blue-gray image of mountains and a village or town in the center with a white circle to the right where the watermark can be found. The banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front but only the denomination on the back. The note has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number J4497055 displayed in red twice n the front but again not on the back. The note has a water mark showing the image of Jacinto Verdaguer.
