Condition: The medal is in excellent condition and I would grade it as mint state uncirculated. The medal has no wear with minimum surface marks or scratches. It has what I view as beautiful golden bronze with a nice tan patina. The medal has a small spot at the elbow of the right arm of the youth on the obverse, However, this is a non-issue and the medal is great looking and is problem free. The box is a bit soiled, has some inscription on the back of the bottom portion describing the medal, but is intact with no breaks. The medal is resting on a piece of white felt like material with the literature pamphlet, which is intact, both of which are lightly soiled with the literature being slightly bent. A great medal to add to your collection. Please view photos for additional condition information and to appreciate the beauty of the piece.
