Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice, very unusual and substantial but delicate piece. The piece is beautiful, very unusual, in great condition, and would display nicely in any redware collection.

Condition: Plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or hairlines. The plate has general crazing to the glaze, which is difficult to see because of the dark color, but it is there. The back of the plate shows the mold marks as well as the work marks which can be seen in the fourth and fifth photo. These are original to the making and do not represent damage but rather technique. Be that as it may, it is a great looking plate, which would make a great addition to your collection.
