1979 Egypt Pound Gold Coin Commemorative Centennial Land Reform Bank PF69 DCAM
Description: Beautiful Deep Cameo PCGS Proof 69 gold coin from Egypt. This is the 1979 (1399 AH) One Egyptian Pound gold coin commemorating the 100th Year Anniversary of the Bank of Land Reform. The coin depicts the famous ancient Egyptian sitting scribe with scenes of ancient Egyptian farmers harvesting wheat and above them ancient Egyptian farmers plowing with an oxen driven plow all on the obverse. Just a great looking design. The reverse of the coin indicates that the coin is to commemorate the centennial of the bank and has the date and denomination. The reverse also has indication that it is a coin from the Arab Republic of Egypt. All of this is surrounded by lotus flowers. It is KM-492 and weighs 8.00 grams of 0.875 gold. It measures approximately 22 mm in diameter. The coin is graded PF69 DCAM by PCGS and comes in a plastic slab so marked. Condition: The coin is graded Proof 69 Deep Cameo or PF 69 DCAM by PCGS and comes in a plastic slab that is annotated as such. The coin is beautiful with no wear whatsoever and is problem free. The slab has scratches to the PCGS reflective logo on the back, it would appear someone removed an old label and cause considerable scratches while doing it.
