Description: A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from Spain. This is the 23 October 1979, 1000 Pesetas. The banknote has gray-blue and green coloring on multicolor under-print. It depicts the image of Benito Pérez Galdós, the famous Spanish realist novel writer from the 19th century, to the right of the front, and has a tree design in the center. The back has the same color scheme as the front with a design showing rock formation with people walking through them, the same tree design as the front and a map of the Canary Islands. The banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front but only the denomination on the back. The note has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number 6X1826973 displayed in red twice on the front but again not on the back. The note has a water mark showing the image of Benito Pérez Galdós.
