2 Uncirculated 5 Riyals Banknotes Saudi Arabia Kings Fahd & Abdullah P 22d&32c
Description: Two crisp uncirculated banknotes from Saudi Arabia. Both notes are 5 Riyals banknotes. The first is 1983 banknote showing the image of King Fahd and the second is a 2012 banknote showing the image of King Abdullah. known to have been issued in 2012. The notes which are written in Arabic on the front and English on the back were issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency. The first note shows King Fahd with boats in the water to his left, this is pick # 22d and the second note shows King Abdullah to the right with the image of an oil refinery to his left, making itt Pick #32c. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: Pick #22d was issued according to the law of 1379 AH and the Pick #32c is dated 2012 or 1433 AH.

Size: Both notes measure ~5 3/4" by ~2 5/8".
Pick Number: P 22d and is listed in the banknote book as B121d and the other is pick 32c and is listed in the banknote book as B131c.
Condition: I would grade both notes as crisp uncirculated. The notes have all their details well preserved. The notes have no folds, no graffiti, no pinholes, and no splits. The edges are intact with no signs of wear. The notes retain all of their original stiffness and crispiness. The colors are vivid and bright. The corners are intact and fully squared with no rounding, creasing, or bumping. The banknote with King Abdullah's image has a bump at the top edge right at the end of the security thread, which we believe is a manufacturing artifact and not due to circulation. Other than that, the two notes are nicely margined, attractive, and would make a nice addition to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
