  • $ 97.77

Description: A hanging hand carved wood and polychrome painted American Folk Art figure. The carving shows a blueish-gray colored bird having orange colored wings and wire legs perched on a branch emanating from the trunk of a tree. The tree trunk has some surface lichen which really adds nice appearance and texture to the piece. The piece has a loop on top to be hung from on a wall as a decorative accent. The bird is gray with white eyes and a yellow beak. Its wings are orange with black and white highlights and its tail is decorated with white circles filled with red color and having black lines emanating from them. It is standing on a small branch with wire legs which are wrapped around it. The carving shows minimum details with mainly the general shape of the bird and the wings being outlined. A very well made hand carved piece of American Folk Art to add to your Americana Collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
