Antique Art Nouveau Bronze Bottle Opener Nude Woman With Arms Up Nice Patina
Description: A bronze hand-held bottle opener in the form of a nude woman with her arm up. The bottle opener shows the nude with her arms up holding a banner, which in combination with the woman's head dress serves as the bottle opener. The shape of the bottl4e opener is in the typical art nouveau shape of a nude woman in a typical pose. The piece has a round flat base on which it would rest and stand in a flat surface. The piece is original and has ware commensurate with its age and use. It has been smoothed nicely and looks great. We believe the piece is from the late 1800s (late 19th century) and it is a miracle it has survived all this time. A nice and rather unusual bronze bottle opener to add to your collection and would make a great conversation piece. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size: The piece measures ~3 1/2" long and is ~1 1/4" at its widest (at the banner held by the woman above her head). The bottle opener weighs about 2 ounces.

Condition: The bottle opener is in good overall condition. It has no breaks or repairs. The piece is smoothed and has developed a nice patina from years of use. The piece is slightly soiled, has some scratches, and lost some of its detailed from being smoothed by years of use. All these issues can be seen in the photos.
