Antique Brass Tall Stem Four Position Adjustable Candlestick Holder Round Base
Description: An antique ~8 1/4" tall cast brass table top candlestick holders. The candlestick holder weighs over one pound and 3 ounces. The candlestick holder has a large round bases having a slightly raised edge and a tall central shaft with four defined positions for a separate moving cup where the candle would fit. The cup itself, which slides up and down the hollow stem, has an extension which can be introduced into a horizontal slot on the stem to hold its position. The stem has three slots on it and the bottom position would make the fourth position which the cup can take. The stem has a fourth slot at the top which seems unusable and possibly is there to allow for cleaning of the cup since if the cup's extension is slid into it the dup would topple and would be unstable. The cup itself is ~1 1/4" tall and has an external diameter of ~3/4â€. The stem has a platform around the top opening with a raised edge to catch the melting wax. A beautiful and very unusual cast brass antique candlestick holder to use around your home or to add to your collection of antique brass implement.
