This product is currently sold out.

Description: A beautiful lustrous or iridescent antique amethyst, blue and dark purple colored Carnival Glass footed bowl. This piece which has dark purple or amethyst coloring over what looks like iridescent dark blue has a very lustrous or iridescent appearance both on the interior and exterior. It is a beautiful bowl with raised design depicting clusters of grapes surrounded by grape leaves and hanging from a cable which stretches all along the circumference above the design. This is the pattern known as Grape and Cable originally introduced by Northwood in 1910 and later made by Fenton. This bowl has a very nice dark and iridescent coloring showing reds, blues, purple, gold, and amethyst tones depending on the angle of light. The coloring can be seen both on the inside and outside. The bowl has a scalloped edge with alternating long and short scallops. The bowl has a round foot and magnificent golden silvery coloring on the back near the foot. The foot is blue on the back but still shows the iridescent coloring on the inside of the bowl. This is a very popular design, but this shape is uncommon. The piece is of solid glass cast construction. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
