Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice, very interesting and hard to come by still penny bank which would make a nice addition to your collection. Condition: This chalkware bank is in very good condition. It has no breaks and no repairs. The bank appears to be all original with losses to the paint which is reflected in the appearance of gray areas which show the underlying chalkware. It is a miracle that the bank is still intact since it would have been a toy and as such it would have suffered. The bank shows some soiling, scratches to the surface, and general wear to the paint, which can be seen in the photos. Be that as it may, this is a great looking bank worthy of a spot in your collection. Please view photos to appreciate beauty of this bank and for additional condition information.
