Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A nice and interesting antique matchsafe. It would make a great addition to your silver box collection, matchsafe, or tobacco/smoking related collection.
Condition: The match safe is in fair condition with many bumps, distortion to the lips on which the lid sits, a small loss to one of the lips near the hinge, and scratches. The hinged lid works fine and the matchsafe has no repairs. The vesta has some soiling, and general wear to the exterior commensurate with the pieces age and utilitarian function. Because of the small break and the many dings and scratches we are selling the vesta AS IS at a fraction of its true value. A good piece at a reasonable price to add to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
